WOFL is a Fox owned and operated television station licensed to Orlando, Florida, USA. Owned by Fox Corporation's Fox Television Stations subsidiary, it is part of a duopoly with MyNetworkTV owned and operated station WRBW.
WOFL currently broadcasts 57.5 hours of locally produced newscasts each week in terms of the number of hours devoted to news programming. This is the highest local newscast output of any television station in the Orlando market. As is common with Fox stations that air weekend newscasts in the early evening, Saturday and Sunday from WOFL at 5 p.m. newscasts are subject to preemption due to sports coverage.
Channel 35 in Orlando began broadcasting on March 31, 1974 as WSWB, Central Florida's first independent station.
