KTNV-TV is an ABC-affiliated television channel licensed in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. Owned by the Cincinnati-based E.W. Scripps Company, it is part of a duopoly with the Ion-owned and operated station KMCC under license Laughlin. KTNV-TV's studios are located on South Valley View Boulevard in the nearby unincorporated community of Paradise, and its transmitter is located atop Mount Arden in Henderson.
Currently, KTNV-TV does not air America This Morning due to the World News Now loop until the 4:30 a.m. newscast begins. Outside of the ABC network schedule, syndicated programming on KTNV-TV includes The Kelly Clarkson Show, Judge Judy, Inside Edition, and Right This Minute.
KTNV-TV currently broadcasts a total of 43 hours of locally produced newscasts each week for the number of hours devoted to news programming. It is the second largest local news release among Las Vegas broadcast television stations after Fox affiliate KVVU-. Television (Channel 5) produces 53 hours of news each week. In past years, the station's newscasts have been called News 13, Channel 13 News, News 13 Inside Las Vegas, and 13 Inside Las Vegas; the station switched to the current Action News branding for its newscasts in 2003.
