Het zendt een grote verscheidenheid aan soap opera's uit en heeft een aanvaardbare hoeveelheid lokale inhoud en nieuws.Op 22 juli 2018 onthulde Citizen TV zijn nieuwe tv-studio en stellaire nieuwspresentatoren. Deze omvatten Lulu Hassan en Rashid Abdalla, het eerste echtpaar dat het nieuws op de Keniaanse televisie presenteert. Het station lanceerde in 2021 ook een filiaal van Ramogi TV.
