DW (Deutsche Welle). Centrando-se em programas noticiosos e informativos, começou a emitir em 1 de Abril de 1992. DW emite via satélite e ascende a partir de Berlim. O serviço de emissão da DW em língua inglesa é dirigido a uma audiência internacional. O DW árabe destina-se a falantes de árabe que vieram para a Europa como refugiados e residentes do Médio Oriente. DW Arabic oferece uma cobertura imparcial dos acontecimentos mais importantes do mundo árabe, da Europa e do mundo a partir da Alemanha. As transmissões diárias são noticiários, documentários, revistas, e temas actuais, transmitidos 24 horas por dia alternando entre alemão e inglês para a América do Norte e do Sul e também duas horas por dia em espanhol. Também transmite três horas por dia em árabe.
