DW's English language broadcast service is aimed at an international audience. DW Arabic is intended for Arabic speakers who came to Europe as refugees and residents of the Middle East. DW Arabic provides unbiased media coverage of the most important events in the Arab world, Europe and the world from Germany. The daily broadcasts are hourly newscasts, documentaries, magazines, and current topics, transmitted around the clock alternating between German and English for North and South America and also two hours per day in Spanish.
