Show TV is a national TV channel in Turkey owned by the Ciner Media Group since 2013, acquired from the Turkish savings deposit insurance fund, which in turn was acquired from Çukurova Media Group after Çukurova was forced to sell due to tax debts. The channel replaces the now defunct ITU TV frequencies and was originally founded by Turkish businessmen Erol Aksoy and Haldun Simavi, although it was launched on March 1, 1991, when it begins test broadcasts. A year later, the channel moved its headquarters to Istanbul, Turkey, simultaneously starting its official broadcast. Show TV expanded its audience reach by adding more channels to its group, such as Show Max and Show Turk. New episodes of the channel's news, series and programs are broadcast simultaneously with Show TV, and the screen also shows old or new episodes of Show TV. Show Türk channel broadcasts programs and series simultaneously with Show TV broadcast in Turkey. In this way, Turks living in Europe can follow Turkey's agenda and developments directly through Show Türk. The Show News program, which is broadcast every day at 18:45, features important events and news on the agenda in Turkey and around the world. The program, which lasts about an hour, is presented live.
