RTV Katwijk is the local broadcaster of the municipality of Katwijk, in the Dutch province of South Holland. The television broadcast times are weekdays at 12:00, 18:00 and 21:30. There is no television broadcast on Sundays. The radio broadcasts are daily from early morning to late evening 24/7.
RTV Katwijk officially started digital broadcasting on Saturday, May 21, 2011. RTV Katwijk can be received on channel 41 not only in Katwijk but also in surrounding municipalities. The sound of the radio can be heard under the cable newspaper. This cable newspaper can be seen when there are no TV broadcasts. In addition to the digital signal, RTV Katwijk also broadcasts the analog signal.
Well-known TV programs of RTV Katwijk were: Studio Visserijkade, Grasduinen, Beeldspraak, Kustgangers and the youth program Rotation. Nowadays programs such as: RTV Magazine, RTV Sport, Monthly Interview with the Mayor, Katwijk Live, Traces of the past, Katwijk Centrael and The Hobby Van.
