Antofagasta TV is a Chilean broadcast television channel, launched on October 16, 2006. It is owned by CNC Medios. Its general manager is Marcelo Mendizábal Terrazas. The channel was launched as Famtel Televisión and was owned by the late comedian Carlos Trujillo "Carloco", on VTR channel 16 and on open signal on channel 30 UHF.
In November 2008, Antofagasta Televisión established a strategic alliance with CNN Chile to exchange audiovisual material. One of the channel's contributions to CNN Chile was the coverage of the earthquakes and tsunami warning in 2014 that affected the country.
On July 27, 2010, Antofagasta TV obtained a concession from SUBTEL to start experimental broadcasts on DTT within channel 32 UHF using the ISDB-Tb digital standard, which made the channel the first regional television station in the country to start digital transmissions. On December 13 of that same year, the channel purchased cameras and equipment for the production of high-definition programs. In addition, it acquired two mobile units capable of recording in HD, which can be used by both Antofagasta TV and CNN Chile.
