Chung T'ien Television, is a nationwide cable TV network based in Taiwan.
CTV is a satellite TV station in the Republic of China. It is part of the Want China Group, which includes two domestic channels in Taiwan, CTS General and CTS Entertainment, two overseas channels, CTS Asia and CTS North America, and one internet TV channel, CTS News. It is headquartered in the Times Square Building in the Neihu District of Taipei City.
In June 2002, due to the inability of the Xiangshan Group to operate JDTV, JDTV was transferred to the Zhong Shi Group and renamed Zhong Tian TV Co. Ltd. The Zhong Shi Group took over the operation of Zhong Tian 3 Channels and became the only media group in Taiwan to provide media platforms across print, internet and TV, as well as cultural, entertainment, news and information content services, and media, leisure arts and technology industries. In the same year, CTS TV signed a contract with Lottery Corporation to obtain the broadcasting rights of public welfare lottery draws for a period of December 31, 2006.
