TV Dami - a common name for local TV stations, created in networks formerly owned by the cable TV operator "Dami" in the 1990s.
The first local channel under the name TV Dami was launched in Radom, where the operator of the whole network had its headquarters, in February 1992.
In the following years, as the network expanded into several cities, the inhabitants of Legnica, Jelenia Gora, Walbrzych, Oswiecim, Ostrowiec Swietokrzyski, Skarzysko-Kamienna and Rzeszow could also watch their own channels under the name TV Dami. All of them, except for the common name, owner and title of the news program ("Teledziennik") had nothing in common.
After the majority package of shares was taken over by the Polsat Group, and after TVK Dami was absorbed by Vectra S.A. with its seat in Gdynia, the stations began to change their shape. In 2001 the first station from Radom changed. The management of the program was taken over by Grupa Medialna, a company created by its employees. In 2007, a similar process took place in Legnica and Jelenia Góra, where the licensee is Agencja Reklamy Promocji DAMI sp z o.o.
