NBC2 - Southwest Florida News, Weather and Sports Information Guide! The branding, known as NBC 2 on air, derives from WBBH-TV's premier cable channel in the market on Comcast Xfinity, CenturyLink and most other cable providers in the region. This practice stems in part from the region's exceptionally high cable penetration rate, which is one of the highest in the United States. WBBH-TV currently broadcasts 49½ hours of locally produced news programs each week (8½ hours on weekdays, 3 hours on Saturdays and 4 hours on Sundays). It is one of the few Big Three stations in the United States to have a total of more than 40 hours of weekly news programming. Together, WZVN and WBBH broadcast more than 80 hours of local news each week; They also host live streams of their news programs on YouTube.
