France 24 consists of three different TV channels which broadcast in French, English and Arabic 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is dedicated to international news and its slogan is "Liberté, Egalité, Actualité" ("Freedom, Equality, News"). He has a French approach to world affairs. With three channels, France 24 aims to provide an exceptional global public service and shared editorial position. It was launched in 2006 and is now available in 177 countries. It is based in Paris, but also has an extensive correspondent network and 100 offices around the world. French companies rarely have a corporate mission statement. France 24 not only has a mission statement, but expects all staff to adhere to this mission, namely broadcasting news with a French perspective, being fair and impartial, and communicating French values around the world. Before embarking on the project, the company conducted market research in 20 countries to understand what the potential audience considers French values. Values identified include a diverse view of the world, a love of controversy and conflicting views, and a balance of culture and lifestyle with sound economic principles.
