Omroep Brabant is the regional public broadcaster of the Dutch province of North Brabant.News and background information are central to our programming. We also pay a lot of attention to events, both sports and cultural. Various events, from Paaspop to Festyland, from Carnaval to Bloemencorso Zundert, receive extensive attention through all our media.Omroep Brabant employs some 230 people, of whom 130 are permanent staff. The board of the broadcaster is formed by the director. In addition there is a Supervisory Board and a Media Council, in which the main social, cultural and spiritual currents in the province are represented. The provincial government checks whether the board is actually representative.
