Z1 televizija (formerly Zagrebačka televizija and TV Sljeme) is a local commercial television station from the city of Zagreb in the Republic of Croatia.
The second Zagreb television station - TV Sljeme - began broadcasting on March 13, 2003 with a concession for the city of Zagreb. The first chief editor was Branko Kuzele. At the beginning of 2006, Z1 television changed its ownership structure and introduced a new programming scheme in which special attention is paid to informative and entertaining programs. The formats of Z1 television are intended for the widest spectrum of audiences, from young people to retirees, from apolitical to politically engaged, regardless of gender or education. Z1 television is television with a local concession in the area of the wider Zagreb region d44-46, with a visibility radius beyond all territorial restrictions. With regard to broadcasting via all digital platforms: Max-TV, B-net, EVO-TV, AMIS and others, but also due to its own satellite which broadcasts the program unencoded, Z1 cannot be counted among the local electronic media. There are many of our viewers throughout the territory of the Republic of Croatia, as well as Croats in the diaspora, for whom Z1 is their favorite media link with their homeland in many countries.
