Rai Südtirol is a German language tv station produced by the Italian public-service broadcasting network RAI from its studios in Bolzano. The station programming is aimed to the German-speaking listeners in South Tyrol.Transmissions began in 1960. The schedules also include a number of programmes in Ladin language. From 22 till 06 Rai Radio 3 programming is being broadcast.Rai Südtirol is the South Tyrolean face and the South Tyrolean voice of the Rai public broadcaster. With the Tagesschau we reach up to 180,000 viewers every day. Two out of three South Tyroleans choose our program. Rai Südtirol sees itself as a piece of home and would like to accompany, entertain and inform you, wherever you wish. The internet makes it possible. We broadcast 13 hours a day on the radio and at least 50 minutes a day on television. It is a mix of up-to-date information and a sophisticated programme, mainly produced in South Tyrol.
