RTV Utrecht is the regional news channel for the city and province of Utrecht and brings news, backgrounds and information on important developments. The daily news programme of RTV Utrecht on television is called U Vandaag. Other current affairs programmes include Bureau Hengeveld (the regional investigation programme), De Kwestie and U Online.On the local TV station UStad, there are five editions of the programme U in de wijk, with neighbourhood news from Overvecht, Zuilen, Ondiep (under the name Ondiep TV), Kanaleneiland and Leidsche Rijn.Well-known media personalities that regularly appear on RTV Utrecht, or have their own programme, are historian Maarten van Rossem, musician Henk Westbroek, lawyer Willem Jan Ausma, presenter Evelien de Bruijn and singer Toni Peroni.
