The mission of SPTV is to encourage all Croatian sports - from the state to the local level, especially non-commercial sports.
SPTV is the main promoter of sports as such, aware of its importance in the life of society, especially in the development of young people. Children's and youth sports, recreational sports, Paralympic sports are followed and women's sports are popularized, and the achievements of top Croatian athletes are promoted.
Since 2011, SPTV has produced and broadcast on its platforms thousands of hours of sports programs and thousands of broadcasts of sports events, fulfilling its social function of increasing awareness of the role of non-commercial sports, all with more than 70% of its own production.
In carrying out its mission, SPTV works with a partnership model with a number of public and private sector bodies and thereby creates indirect public value.
Data from the world's independent audience measurement agency ABG Nielsen show that SPTV achieved an enviable viewership, surpassing the reach of many renowned international television stations.
