TVA - Fernsehen für Ostbayern (TVAktuell) is a private regional television station for the eastern Bavarian counties of Regensburg, Kelheim and Cham and the independent city of Regensburg.
TVA broadcasts 24 hours a day in HD on cable and via satellite, with daily programming always starting at 6 p.m. In addition, TVA runs Monday through Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. via cable channel as a regional program on RTL . TVA has been in existence since April 1, 1996, and currently has around 36 permanent employees. The station is based in Regensburg.
At the center of the program is the TVA Journal, a daily half-hour program in news format with all the information from the region. In addition, TVA shows various programs every day on a specific subject area, such as regional sporting events, tradition and customs, health or business.
In addition to the current program, TVA produces image films, such as company portraits or product videos, as well as advertising films.
TVA is also present on the Internet. On its homepage, the latest news is published several times a day and supplemented with video contributions. In addition, the station offers a 24-hour live stream. All broadcasts from the last two years can be viewed in the media library.
