TA3 is the only news television on the Slovak media market. It has been officially broadcast since September 23, 2001. However, the first special broadcast took place on September 11, 2001 on the occasion of the attack on the World Trade Center in New York.TA3 is a free media outlet with independent content and a recognized source of up-to-date, truthful and verified information. At TA3 you will find professionally rendered topics from the fields of politics, economics, finance, sports and social event spheres and a wide range of programs. TA3 is a full-screen television, with a daily reach of 1.2 million to 1.5 million viewers. In 2013 and 2014, TA3 received the Superbrands SLOVAKIA award. Most of the original shows are also freely available as streaming videos (IPTV - Internet television) on the homepage of the TV station.On 20 September 2017 TA3 started broadcasting from a makeshift studio. This was due to the modification of the studio and the transition to high-definition broadcasting, which required a complete change of the technological chain: new overheads, new cameras, new graphics and new transmission trucks. TA3's programming structure includes news (domestic, foreign, economic, regional, sports), culture, political journalism. During the day, news blocks are usually repeated every hour. In the evening at 18:30 the main news starts.
