24 Horas is a Chilean subscription television news channel. It is owned by Televisión Nacional de Chile (TVN), the company that manages the public television in that country and has its origin in an agreement between the cable television distributor VTR and TVN during 2008, taking the name of the homonymous newscast that has been broadcasted since 1990. This led to a first broadcast that took place on March 4, 2009 at 20:00 (local time), with the program Hora clave. Since then, the channel has been broadcasting without interruptions until today from the studios located in the Corporate Building of Televisión Nacional de Chile, located in Providencia, in the Metropolitan Region of Santiago.
