München TV is a regional television station from Munich. Since 2005, the station has been operated by München Live TV Fernsehen GmbH & Co. KG since 2005. München Live TV Fernsehen GmbH & Co. KG also produces the program RTL München live.
With its TV programming, the tv station targets viewers from Munich and Upper Bavaria and reports on current events and what is happening in the broadcast area in the news program münchen heute. Until April 2020, Monika Eckert hosted the show, which is broadcast live at 6 p.m. and repeated at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Since May, alongside Timo Miechielsen, Eva Nusshart has been anchor of the news.
